Donor Day!

Saturday, October 1st, was UCC’s first Donor Appreciation Day. Donors to UCC were invited to join us for a celebratory lunch on our Youth Farm, prepared by Board Vice President and former East New York Farms! intern, Warren Ottey. Lunch showcased some of the beautiful vegetables our farm has to offer, while peer educators from Protecting the East played fun games and tested our guests’ knowledge of reproductive health and wellness. Guests joined us from as far away as Pennsylvania. They learned more about UCC, met the Board, staff, and program participants. They got to see first-hand the programs we offer, and how much their donations help us serve the people of East New York. It was a great day and we can’t wait to do it again next year!
