Each year during the growing season, ENYF! Staff and Community Educators provide free workshops and activities around gardening, nutrition, wellness, and food justice to educate our neighbors about how to grow, prepare, and preserve healthy food and live more healthily and sustainably.

Hotbox Community Build Day with The Brotherhood Sister Sol
Come join us for a community build at the ENY Youth Farm! We are excited to partner with The Brotherhood Sister Sol for this event. Participants can help build the HotBox composting system, and learn about the effort to get them installed in gardens all across the 5 boroughs. Let's come together and connect, East New York Gardeners are strongly encouraged to attend!
The HotBox Composting system is a unique thermophilic food waste processing bin that is rodent-proof, super efficient, and takes minimal effort to manage. Come by and help build the system for East New Farms and join the NYC 1K Composting Systems initiative.
